Build real products,
zero to one.

Productat is a community of builders, by builders, helping non-technical people ship amazing tech products. Learn the craft across four lenses, UX/UI, engineering, product, and go-to-market, and build 0 to 1 with people who have done it.

Applications are reviewed. We approve builders on a rolling basis.

What you'll learn

Four lenses. One shipped product.

You don't need to be technical to build something real. You need the right mental models across the whole product, and people who've shipped to pull you through.

UX / UI

Design people actually get

Think in flows and screens, not features. Wireframe an idea, build visual hierarchy, and learn to tell when an interface is working, plus the tools (Figma and friends) to make it real.

Product

First-principles thinking

Reason about products from the ground up: frame the real problem, decide what to build and what to cut, and scope a 0-to-1 MVP that's small enough to ship and sharp enough to matter.

Tech

What the systems actually do

Demystify the stack. What a frontend, backend, API, database, and auth each do, how they fit together, the nuances that trip people up, and enough hands-on dev (with AI tools) to build and to talk to engineers.

GTM

Get it into real hands

A builder's go-to-market mindset: positioning, a landing page that converts, finding your first users, and telling a story people repeat. Shipping is step one, distribution is the rest.

The community

By builders. For the not-yet-technical.

Everyone here remembers being a beginner. Productat is people who've shipped, teaching people who want to, so you can go from idea to real product without a computer science degree.

Who it’s for

Non-technical founders, designers, PMs, domain experts, and career-switchers with an idea and no clear path to build it. Come curious, leave with a product and a crew that ships.

anyone want to pair for the hackathon? I'll bring product + GTM, looking for a build partner 🚀

Mentors across all four lenses

Designers, engineers, product folks, and operators who've shipped, on hand to unblock you on UX, tech, product, or go-to-market.

Weekly build nights & workshops

Hands-on sessions that turn a concept into a screen, a screen into a working app, and a working app into something people can use.

Honest feedback on your product

Post work in progress and get real critique from people who want you to ship, not vague encouragement.

A cohort building alongside you

You're not learning alone. A room of builders and not-yet-builders moving idea to shipped at the same time keeps you honest.

Starters, templates & AI workflows

The shortcuts builders actually use, so you spend your energy on the product, not on reinventing setup.

Intros that matter

Teammates for the hackathon, your first users, and people who've been where you're going.

The inaugural hackathon

Our first hackathon. Late July.

The community's first build weekend. Show up with an idea and a willingness to learn, leave with a shipped 0-to-1 product and people who'll keep building with you.

San Francisco Bay Area, late July 2026

Beginner-friendly by design

You do not need to code. Mentors, starters, and AI tools are on hand, and teams are mixed by skill so everyone contributes and everyone learns.

Idea to shipped in a weekend

Pick an idea, work it across all four lenses (UX/UI, product, tech, GTM), and walk out with something real you can put in front of people.

Mentors in the room

Designers, engineers, product folks, and operators floating the room to unblock you the moment you get stuck, not a week later.

Apply to join

Spots are limited and approved. Apply early to make the first cohort.

Be first in line to build
